Dr Yogesh Bhat General Practitioner

Dr Yogesh Bhat completed his Medical and General Practice training in Cambridge and London before moving to Australia in 2004.

He has been serving the local community at Dural Medical Centre for the past 20 years and is the Practice Medical Director.

Dr Bhat enjoys all aspects of General Practice, having developed a wealth of experience across the full spectrum of general medical care over the past two decades.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a football tragic. He prides himself on having converted both his teenage children into football tragics as well. However, his wife very much remains a work in progress.

Dr Bhat is available to see patients Monday to Friday and some Saturday mornings.

Dr Sini Joseph General Practitioner

Dr Sini Joseph is a highly experienced medical professional with a diverse background spanning over 20 years. Her career has encompassed roles in hospitals and general practice settings, including a period in Rural NSW to complete her fellowship. Dr. Joseph’s foundational training took place during her internship and resident years at St George Hospital Kogarah.

She has developed a broad expertise in general practice, with particular interests in women’s health, paediatric health, preventative medicine, and chronic disease management. Dr Joseph advocates for a comprehensive, holistic approach to healthcare, emphasizing prevention as a key component of patient wellness. Her commitment to effective communication underscores her practice, where she strives to build compassionate relationships with her patients and their families.

Dr Joseph is multilingual, fluent in English, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, which enhances her ability to serve a diverse patient community effectively.

Outside of medicine, Dr Joseph nurtures interests in music, reading, and art, enriching her life beyond her professional commitments.

She maintains availability for appointments on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, ensuring accessibility for her patients throughout the week.

Dr Ban Yacoub General Practitioner

Dr Ban Yacoub has an impressive background and a wealth of experience in general practice. Her MB ChB degree signifies her medical qualifications, and her Fellowship with the Royal College of Australian General Practitioners (FRACGP) indicates her commitment to ongoing professional development and high standards of care.

Having completed her medical internship at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Dr Yacoub gained foundational experience in hospital settings before transitioning to general practice. Her extensive career spans over 20 years, with a significant portion of it in Sydney, Australia, as well as in Cessnock and the Hunter Valley area.

Dr Yacoub’s clinical interests reflect a broad spectrum of healthcare, including women’s health, general paediatrics, immunisation, travel medicine, diabetes care, skin cancer checks, and weight management. Her belief in preventative medicine aligns with her proactive approach to healthcare, emphasizing the importance of preventing illnesses before they occur.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr Yacoub enjoys travelling and cooking.

Dr Sidrah Saad General Practitioner

Dr Liu General Practitioner

Dr Liu is a well-rounded general practitioner with a strong focus on chronic disease management, men’s health, and skin conditions. His proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese allows him to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population, ensuring clear and empathetic care for all.

Dr Liu is skilled in minor skin procedures, further enhancing his ability to provide comprehensive care. His approach to healthcare emphasises preventative medicine, lifestyle management, and continuity of care, reflecting a holistic approach to patient wellness. Dr Liu is available on weekdays and occasional Saturday mornings, ensuring accessibility for patients seeking his expertise.

Outside of medicine, Dr Liu enjoys playing tennis and values staying active and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. His diverse interests and skills make him a valuable resource in our community for a wide range of healthcare needs.

Shirley Pratap Audiologist

Shirley Pratap, the Chief Audiologist, leads Hills Hearing with more than 25 years of experience serving the community in the Parramatta and Hills regions. “We recognise that every individual’s hearing journey is unique. That’s why at Hills Hearing we take a personalised approach to craft tailored solutions for each client, starting with in-depth assessments to ongoing support,” says Shirley.

Hills Hearing provides hearing devices with the latest technology combined with a gentle approach. The clinic is contracted to the Commonwealth Hearing Services program to provide free hearing services to eligible pensioners and veterans. They also serve private clients, self-funded retirees, and offer pre-employment tests, hearing assessments for children over 5 years, and micro-suction wax removal. Additionally, Hills Hearing provides hearing care at retirement homes in the Hills and Hawkesbury regions.
